Uniswap V4, Liquity V2, and more

Uniswap V4
Uniswap V4, which has been in the works for over a year, has finally deployed to mainnet. The delay was in part due to dependency on Dencun and also because Unichain has been also tying up resources.
Uniswap V4 has a bunch of improvements for developers, but these translate to real benefits for users.
It uses a single(ton) contract which reduces gas costs. It allows for auto compounding LP positions, and it has "Hooks".
Hooks are code developers can run before or after swaps. They essentially turn Uniswap into a customizable DEX.
Bunni v2 has already developed on Uniswap V4 to enable things like rehypothecation, where out of range liquidity is supplied in lending protocols to earn yield, or dynamic liquidity shapes. Another protocol called Angstrom from Sorella aims to recapture MEV. Before Uni v4 these would have to be separate AMMs but with Univ4 they can build on Uniswap.
Liquity V2
Decentralized Stablecoin protocol Liquity launched its long-awaited V2. V2 enables user set interest rates, which doesnt seem like a big deal, but is. V1 of liquity which had no interest payments suffered from an issue of over-redemptions in the last years as the Fed raised rates. Since Liquity v1 had no interest rate payments people used it a lot to borrow and then farm other stables, leading to LUSD going under peg, and being redeemed.
V2 solves this with user set interest rates. Why not set rates super low? Because you woudl still suffer the issue of over-redemption, so users are incentivized to set rates at market rates.
Liquity V1 was a great idea but had issues from rates, so I have high hopes for V2 - this is one of the most decentralized DeFi Projects, and it has a lot of potential value for leverage seekers and farmers , as well as decentralization maxis.
We'll have a lot more about Liquity v2 soon – stay tuned.
Venice Launches Token
Venice.ai, an uncensored LLM wrapper launched by Erik Voorhees, released its VVV token recently. This is an actually cool project, as censorship severely hampers many of the LLMs out there, whether it's ChatGPT, Claude, or Deepseek. Whether its political questions or controversial topics, I'm sure you've encountered blockers when using Chatgpt and Venice does away with that.
If you used Venice in the past, you may be eligible for its VVV airdrop. You can stake VVV to gain Pro access, which lets you have more requests, and also gives you API access.
There's a lot of controversy about VVV because it seems to have gotten preferential Coinbase listing. Personally, I'm a product person. Venice is a good product. You may or may not want to buy its token, but it seems to actually have some use as well. To me that makes it not a scam in any way, but whether the tokenomics are good, or the valuation makes sense, is another story.
